Privacy Policy
Most of our tools never send your file anywhere — they do the work inside your browser. This page says which ones are which, and what the site itself collects.

Who we are
This policy covers the website at https://snaplytics.io and the tool subdomains linked from it. You can reach us about anything on this page at contact@snaplytics.io.
Files you open in our tools
Our editors and generators — the image, video, audio, caption and GIF tools, the background remover, the makers and the converters — run entirely in your browser. The file you choose is read by the page on your own device, processed there, and handed back to you as a download. It is never uploaded to us, we never receive a copy, and we cannot see it. Closing the tab is all it takes to be rid of it.
The background remover additionally downloads a machine-learning model to your browser from the Hugging Face model hub the first time you use it. The model comes to you; your image does not go to it.
Tools that do send something to a server
A minority of tools cannot work on the device alone, and it is worth being exact about them:
- The text generators — captions, hashtags, bios, titles, names, video ideas and the rest — send the words and options you type to our own API so it can generate a result, and send back the result. What you type is used to answer that request.
- The YouTube tools (transcript, thumbnail, playlist length, monetization check, video-to-PDF) send the video or playlist link you paste, so the data for it can be fetched. Thumbnail images are fetched through a proxy of ours because YouTube’s image host refuses direct browser requests.
- The dislike viewer sends the video ID from your browser to the Return YouTube Dislike project’s public API, which is where that number comes from.
These requests carry what any web request carries: your IP address, the time, and your browser’s user-agent string. They may be logged to keep the service up and to stop abuse. We do not ask for your name or your email to use a tool, and we do not build a profile of you from what you put into one.
Anti-abuse checks
The tools that call our API are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which sometimes shows a check to confirm a person is behind the request. Passing it stores a short-lived token in your browser so you are not asked again on every press. Turnstile is a Cloudflare service and is subject to Cloudflare’s privacy terms.
Analytics
We measure which pages and tools get used, so we know what to build and fix. Two services do this:
- Google Analytics, which sets cookies and receives your IP address and page views as Google describes in its own privacy policy.
- Plausible Analytics, which we serve through our own domain. It is cookieless and records page views without identifying individual visitors.
Advertising
Pages on this site carry ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve and cap those ads, and may personalise them based on your activity across other sites. You can review and turn off ad personalisation in your Google account’s ad settings, and our Cookie Policy has more on the cookies involved.
Cookies and browser storage
We set no cookie of our own to identify you. The site does keep two small things in your browser’s local storage, both on your device and neither readable by us: your light or dark theme choice, and the anti-abuse token described above. The cookies on the site come from the third parties named on this page — the Cookie Policy lists them and explains how to refuse them.
Hosting and delivery
The site is served through Cloudflare and content-delivery networks, which process requests on our behalf and see the IP address and request details of every visit as part of delivering the page and filtering attacks.
Content embedded from other websites
Some pages embed a YouTube player or show images served by the platform a tool works with. Embedded content behaves as though you had visited that site directly: the provider can see the request, set its own cookies, and track your interaction with the embed under its own privacy policy, not ours. We use YouTube’s no-cookie player domain where the player is ours to configure.
Comments and accounts
There is nothing to sign up for and no visitor account to create, so we hold no usernames, passwords or profiles. Parts of this domain run on WordPress, and where a page there accepts a comment, submitting one stores what you put in the form along with your IP address and user-agent string for spam filtering, and shows your name and comment publicly. If you would rather that were removed, write to us.
How long we keep things
Files processed in your browser are never in our hands to keep. Server logs and analytics data are kept only as long as they are useful for running, securing and improving the site, and are deleted or aggregated after that. Comments, where they exist, stay until you or we remove them.
What rights you have over your data
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it — including anything you have sent us by email or left as a comment. Write to contact@snaplytics.io and say what you want done. We may need to keep what we are legally obliged to keep, and we will say so if that applies.
You can also refuse cookies in your browser, turn off ad personalisation with Google, and block analytics with any content blocker; the tools keep working.
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the revised version is posted here and the date under the heading changes with it. There is no mailing list to notify, so that date is the honest signal — continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
