What it does
Open to work frame for your LinkedIn photo
The green band round a LinkedIn profile picture is a picture, not a badge: LinkedIn draws it over your photo when the Open To Work setting is on, and takes it away again when the setting goes off. This page makes the same image as a file you upload yourself — so the ring goes on when you want it, comes off when you swap the photo back, and nothing else about your profile changes.
The photo is cropped to the circle every profile shows, the band is drawn on the outside edge of it, and the corners come out transparent — which is what makes the result sit on a profile as a circle rather than a square with a pale box around it.
The frame, not the setting
LinkedIn’s own frame comes with the Open To Work setting, which tells recruiters — and, if you pick “all LinkedIn members”, everyone else — that you are looking. This makes the same picture as an ordinary photo you upload yourself, so the ring is the only thing that changes.
A transparent open to work PNG
Skip the photo and the download is the band on its own, with everything inside the ring left transparent. That is the open to work PNG to drop over a picture in any other editor.

Worth knowing
Frame or setting — which one you want
LinkedIn’s own Open To Work has two halves that people tend to conflate. The setting tells LinkedIn you are looking, and can be shown to recruiters only — quiet, and invisible on your profile. The frame is the public half: the green ring everyone who visits your profile sees, including your current employer.
A frame made here is only the second half, and only as a photo. It reaches everyone who looks at your profile, exactly as LinkedIn’s does, and it does nothing to the search preferences underneath. If you want the ring but not the announcement, there isn’t one: any visible frame is visible to everybody. If you want to be found without being seen looking, use the setting on its own and leave the photo plain.
