How it works
How to cut a video?
Open your video
Drag a file onto the box or pick one from your device. It is read straight off your disk — there is no upload bar and no file-size ceiling to run into.
Set the in and out points
Drag the two handles on the timeline, or scrub to a moment and press "Set in point" / "Set out point". The length chips snap the out point to a fixed cut — 5, 10, 15, 30, 60 or 90 seconds from where you started.
Choose the shape
Pick an aspect ratio and a resolution. The preview crops live, so what you see in the frame is exactly what the exported file contains.
Cut and download
Press "Cut video". The clip encodes on your graphics hardware — far quicker than the cut is long — then downloads straight to your device, clean and unwatermarked.
The short version
Trim video online
This free online video trimmer cuts a clip to the stretch you want, crops it to a feed shape, and saves an MP4 — all in the browser. Drop a file in, set the in and out points, pick 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9 if you need them, and download.
Nothing is uploaded, nothing is watermarked, and there is no account wall between you and the file. The cut runs on your own device, so work starts the moment the video is open.

Features
Precise in and out points
Drag the timeline handles, or scrub to a frame and lock the start or end with one click. The selection is what gets encoded — nothing before it, nothing after it.
Short-form length chips
Snap the out point to 5, 10, 15, 30, 60 or 90 seconds from where you started — the lengths Reels, Shorts and TikTok are built around.
Aspect ratio crops
Keep the original framing, or crop to 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9. The preview shows the final frame before you cut.
1080p, 720p or 480p
Pick the output height that fits the job. 1080p is the default; drop lower when the file needs to stay small.
Optional audio
Keep the soundtrack or strip it entirely. The picture is untouched either way — useful for silent loops and B-roll under a new track.
MP4 download, no watermark
The cut saves as H.264 MP4 with AAC when audio is kept. Clean file, no logo in the corner, ready to post or drop into an editor.
Why in-browser
What makes our trimmer different?
Most free video cutters are upload-and-wait services with a watermark at the end of the funnel. This one does the work where the file already is.
Nothing is uploaded
The video is decoded and re-encoded by your own browser. No copy of your footage reaches a server, which matters when the clip is client work or simply not public yet.
No watermark, no account
There is no logo burned into the corner, no sign-in wall and no export credits. Cut as many clips as you like.
Feed-ready crops
9:16 for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, 4:5 for an Instagram portrait post, 1:1 for a square grid, 16:9 for YouTube — cropped from the centre, at 1080p, 720p or 480p.
No queue
Because there is nothing to transfer, work starts the moment you drop the file in. The only limit is your own machine, not a free-tier quota.
