Copy the invite link
Copy the invite you were sent — a discord.gg/… link, a discord.com/invite/… link, or just the code at the end of one.

Read the server before you join
A valid invite comes back with the server’s name, description, icon, member count, NSFW flag and expiry date. An expired or revoked one comes back as not found.
Why check
See where an invite leads before you press Join
An invite link says nothing about the server behind it, and opening it in Discord takes you straight to the join screen. Checking it here first tells you which server it is, how large it is, whether it is marked NSFW and whether the invite is still alive — without your account touching the server.
It is also the quick way to audit your own links: paste the invite from your bio, your website or your pinned post and see whether it has expired.
