How it works
How to make a photo collage online?
Drop your photos in
Add 2–20 pictures at once or a few at a time. They stay on your device — no upload, no size cap.
Pick a layout
Choose from grids, mosaics, strips and more that fit your photo count. Add a photo and the options update.
Make it yours
Set the shape, gaps, border, corners and background. Drag any photo inside its frame to reframe it.
Download it
Save as JPG, PNG or WebP at 1080, 2048 or 4096 px — or type any size up to 8000 px.
What it does
Everything in the collage maker
Layouts that fit your photos
Arrangements are generated for your photo count — not fixed templates you have to force-fit.
Every shape a feed asks for
Square, 4:5, 9:16 stories, 16:9, 3:2, 4:3 — or type an exact pixel size.
Spacing, borders and corners
Control gaps, outer border and rounded corners. Zero for a seamless mosaic, wider for scrapbook style.
Any background colour
White, black, paper, a custom colour — or transparent gaps with PNG/WebP export.
Framing per photo
Drag and zoom inside each frame so faces and subjects stay in view.
Reorder and shuffle
Swap photos by dragging, nudge one at a time, or shuffle the whole set.
Up to 8000 px
Export at 1080 for feeds, 4096 for print, or any custom size up to 8000 px.
Nothing is uploaded
Photos are processed in your browser only. Nothing reaches a server.
No watermark, no signup
Full-resolution export, free — no logo, locked layouts or account required.
The layouts
Arrangements made for your photo count
Most collage makers hand you a wall of templates and leave you to find the ones that take seven pictures. This one works the other way round: you bring the photos, and the layouts that hold exactly that many are drawn for you — every even grid, the mosaics that fall out of an odd number, the single row and column, and the feature layouts that give one picture most of the page.
Even grid
Equal squares. The classic four-, six- or nine-up collage.
Mosaic
What an odd number of photos gets: full bands, sized to fit.
Feature
One picture given most of the page, the rest below or beside it.
Strip
A single row or column — a filmstrip, or a before-and-after.
The sizes
What size should a collage be
The shape matters more than the pixels: a square collage cropped into a 9:16 story loses a third of itself. Pick the shape where it is going to be seen, and the export size for how it is going to be seen there.
| Where it goes | Shape | Export | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Instagram or Facebook feed post | 1:1 or 4:5 | 1080 × 1080 / 1080 × 1350 | 1080 px is what Instagram serves; 4:5 is the tallest a feed post can be |
| Story, Reel cover or TikTok | 9:16 | 1080 × 1920 | Fills a phone screen with nothing cropped off the top or bottom |
| YouTube thumbnail or a banner | 16:9 | 2048 × 1152 | Widescreen, with enough pixels to stay sharp on a desktop screen |
| A 6×4 photo print | 3:2 or 2:3 | 4096 px long edge | About 13 inches at 300 dpi — more than a 6×4 or 8×6 print needs |
| A framed poster | Custom | Up to 8000 px | Type in the exact pixel size the print shop asked for |
