Fake Telegram Chat Generator

Type a chat and download a real-size Telegram screenshot, iPhone or Android — name, photo, last seen, ticks, replies and reactions, in a private chat or a group.

This preview is the file. The PNG is drawn by the same code at 3× the size — 1080×2400, a real Android screenshot’s resolution.

The other person
Avatar colour

No photo? The avatar falls back to Telegram’s initials on a colour, like an account without a profile picture. The photo is read on your device and never uploaded.

The phone

Android and iPhone are each drawn from Telegram’s current design for that phone, at the size that phone saves. Light mode is Telegram’s green bubbles on the green-and-gold wallpaper; dark mode is its night theme. Low battery turns the icon red.

The conversation
  • Date pill

Messages from one person join into a run, with the tail on the last bubble, the way Telegram draws them. Up to three emoji and nothing else render big with no bubble. Ticks show on your messages only: one for sent, two for read, a clock while sending.

How it works

How to make a fake Telegram chat?

  1. Set up the chat

A private chat or a group. Give it a name, the line under it — online, last seen recently, typing… — and a photo, or leave the photo off for Telegram’s initials on a colour. For a photo that fits the circle, the Telegram profile picture resizer fits it without cropping.

  2. Write the messages

Add messages from either side, give each a time, set the ticks on yours, quote the message being answered, mark one edited, add reactions and date pills, and reorder freely.

  3. Dress the phone

iPhone or Android, light or dark mode, with or without the doodle pattern, and the status-bar clock and battery.

  4. Download the screenshot

Download a PNG at the size that phone saves: 1206×2622 for an iPhone, 1080×2400 for Android.

The details

What makes a Telegram screenshot look real

One tick or two

Telegram has no grey-and-blue: one check means the message reached Telegram, two mean it was read, and a small clock means it is still sending. All three are on your messages, in the bubble’s own accent colour.

Bubbles in runs

Messages from the same person join up with tight corners between them, and only the last bubble of a run gets the tail. The time tucks into the last line when it fits, and drops below it when it does not.

Replies and “edited”

A reply quotes the original at the top of the bubble — the name over one line of the message, behind a coloured bar. An edited message carries “edited” before its time, exactly where Telegram puts it.

Group chats

In a group, each member’s first bubble is headed by their name in one of Telegram’s seven colours, and their avatar sits beside their last. The same name always gets the same colour.

The default look

Light mode is Telegram’s green bubbles over its green-and-gold gradient; dark mode is the night theme — dark blue on Android, purple-to-blue bubbles on iPhone. The doodle pattern is our own drawing in the same spirit.

Today’s app, both phones

Android has the frosted header and the floating message bar with the blue mic; iPhone has the glass back button, the name in a capsule and the round clip and mic buttons — each laid out from Telegram’s own screenshots of its current design.

Where it fits

What a fake Telegram chat is for?

Memes and group-chat jokes

Write the punchline, the “last seen recently” and the two ticks without a second phone or a second account.

Skits, reels and storytime videos

Make each beat of a text-message story its own screenshot and cut between them. If the story moves to another app, the fake WhatsApp chat generator and the fake Instagram DM generator draw the other halves.

Mockups and design work

Put a realistic Telegram conversation into a pitch deck, a bot’s store page or a UI concept without leaking a real chat or blurring names by hand.

Teaching and awareness

Build example chats for lessons on Telegram scams — fake investment groups, “support” accounts, prize messages — realistic enough to discuss, with nobody real in them.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this fake Telegram chat generator free, and is there a watermark?

Yes, free, and no. There is no logo in the image and no sign-in wall — download as many chats as you like.

Does anything get uploaded — the messages, the profile photo?

No. The chat is typed into the page and the screenshot is drawn by your own browser's canvas. A profile photo you pick is read from your device and never sent anywhere; the PNG is made and downloaded locally.

Can I make a fake Telegram chat on iPhone and on Android?

Both. The iPhone version has the glass back button with the unread count, the name and status in a capsule, the photo on the right and the round clip and mic buttons, at 1206×2622 — the size an iPhone 15 Pro or 16 saves. The Android version has the frosted header with the call button and the floating message bar, at 1080×2400. Either works on any device.

What do one and two ticks mean in a Telegram screenshot?

One check: the message was sent and reached Telegram. Two checks: the other person has read it. A clock: it is still sending. Each of your messages has a ticks menu with all three; the other side’s messages have none, as in the app.

Can I make a fake Telegram group chat?

Yes — switch to Group chat. Name the group, set a line like “6 members, 3 online”, and give each message a sender: their names come out in Telegram’s colours over their first bubble, with an initials avatar beside their last.

Is it OK to make a fake Telegram message?

It's a prop, meant for jokes, fiction, skits and design mockups — not for passing off as a real conversation. Using one to defame, scam, harass or fabricate evidence harms real people and can be illegal. Say it's fake whenever someone could otherwise mistake it for real.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. It runs the same in a mobile browser — type the chat, add a photo from your gallery, and the PNG downloads straight to your device.
